MIG/MAG WELDING

A GREAT DEAL OF EXPERIENCE WITH MIG MAG WELDING.

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and Metal Active Gas (MAG) welding are an important part of our company’s welding offerings. MIG welding is a process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the metal product. This process uses inert gases (or gas mixtures) as the shielding gas. However, MAG welding is an arc welding process where an electric arc is created between a consumable wire electrode and the material to be joined. MAG welding uses active shielding gases, primarily for the welding of steels.

Delwi Groenink has a considerable amount of experience with Mig/Mag welding. Please challenge us with your mig/mag welding questions and feel free to contact us!

MIG MAG WELDING IS ESSENTIAL.

Mig Mag Welding is an essential part of Delwi Groenink’s welding offerings. This technique is a type of arc welding where, in combination with (electric) arc pulses, a place gets heated where two parts need to be connected. Consequently, a pool of molten metals is formed at the place. Once this material cools down, a connection has been formed.

During the Mig Mag Welding process, an additional material is added to the melted metals. A thin metal wire will be added once the welding machine gets in contact with the materials.

Delwi Groenink has acquired substantial experience and expertise in the performance of Mig Mag Welding. To keep our knowledge up-to-date, we keep investing in our welders by means of further training and education.
